Centenary Project

Bathroom

Renovation activities were focused on the Grade 7,8 & 9 Bathrooms. All the bathrooms for the grade 7,8 & 9 bathrooms except for the resurfacing of the floors have been finished. Additionally, all the bathrooms for the Grade 10, 11 as well as the teachers bathrooms have been repairsed. The project focused on the installation of counters and face basins and the tiling of the urinals. Presently, detailed estimates are being developed to complete the refurbishing of all the bathrooms. These are to be completed somewhere between mid-term and the Christmas holidays.

Painting

The painting of the Grades 10 and 11 blocks were completed in time for the beginning of the year.

COBA

Grades 7 and 8 have been painted by COBA in preparation for the school year. A key component of this painting exercise was the involvement of a crew of students supervised by the maintenance supervisor and a member of staff.

Refurbishment efforts by the London Chapter

Repairs to the windows, the installation of white boards and repairs to the lighting and electrical outlets in the ninth grade block were the focus of the London chapters' effort. All windows that were in need of repair have been fixed. White boards have been installed in all of the rooms. The lighting fixtures and electrical outlets have been changed in the first 4 classroom in the ninth grade.
